Front of House Restaurant-Server & Cashier

Duties required but not limited to:
-Greet customers walking through the front door.
-Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
-Inform customers of daily specials.
-Take orders from patrons for food & beverages.
-Enter orders on a POS system.
-Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
-Deliver checks to customers & collect payments.
-Always be attentive to customers.
-Clean tables or counters after patrons have finished dining.
-Stock service areas with supplies.
-Prepare the dining room for the next days service.
-Assist cashier by answering phones to take reservations or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking guests.
-Perform cleaning duties, such as but not limited to, sweeping and mopping floors, tidying up server station, taking out trash and cleaning bathroom.
-During busy hours, stay calm under pressure to serve customers quickly and efficiently.
-Be able to handle a fast-paced environment.
-Handle cash & credit card transactions.
-Be knowledgeable about pies & other desserts we offer.
-Be able to close out a shift at the end of the day.
-Come in each day with a good attitude & ready to work.
