Sam Moon Trading Co. has a career opportunity for a Retail Assistant Manager in The Woodlands, TX.
We are looking for candidates with at least 1-2 years of retail management experience. Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in supporting effective day-to-day operations and management of the store.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Provide assistance to the Store Manager.
* Oversee, perform and supervise functions relating to the effective operations of the store.
* Drive and maximize store sales to achieve profitability goals.
* Ensure all customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality service, courteous employees and quick response to needs.
* Demonstrate good work habits and encourage clean and safe work environment.
* Ensure store is well organized and properly merchandised at all times.
* Function as a role model and a leader to employees and handle personnel issues in a professional manner.
* Train, coach and manage employees in execution of tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Understand, support and comply with all company policies and procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Minimum of 1-2 years of prior retail management experience required.
* Ability to work 9:30am-7:00pm, 5 to 6 days a week. Some Fridays and Saturdays from 10:30am-8:00pm. Saturdays are mandatory. Store is closed on Sundays.
