JOB DESCRIPTION
We're currently seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in South Boston, VA with our partner, one of the world's leading energy suppliers and innovators in energy infrastructure development. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment for a global industry leader.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds, must be able to stand 90% of the work day. Will work under close supervision to perform basic mechanical / electrical assemblies. Basic knowledge of assembly techniques, small hand tools and computers is a must. Must be able to communicate openly and be able to work closely with others. Requires High School diploma or combination of experience and education. Work with fork trucks, cranes, ladders, hand tools, and drawings. Must be able to read blueprints.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Contract Length: 5+ Months
Shift: First- Normal hours are 7:00AM-3:30PM, overtime is 5:00AM- 3:30PM
