PrideStaff is looking for Subrogation Specialist for a local Law Firm

At times, many individuals face unexpected challenges, including wrongful terminations, debilitating car accidents and medical crises, which alter their lives forever.

Those responsible for such circumstances may be unable or unwilling to provide the victims with the finances they need to reestablish their former lifestyles. During times like these, it is important to know that someone will support such individuals and strive to ensure they receive their justified compensations. This is the job of the subrogation specialist.

What they do:

Above all, subrogation specialists are focused on managing an individual's or a party's subrogation or worker's compensation claims when third-party liability occurs. Specialists typically review claim files and recommend methods of recovery for their clients so they can attain contribution and subrogation.

To help clients receive their payments, subrogation specialists:

  • Research claims to identify the actual third party involved; they will likely obtain the party's necessary contact information, including phone number, home address, or office address.

  • Coordinate all claims payments and benefits among multiple insurers in an organized, reliable fashion.

  • Examine all state guidelines and member claims files that may affect the subrogation process.

  • Demand documentation and create surveys to fully realize the liabilities of all parties involved in the claim.

    The successful candidate must have:
    • Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining adaptable, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism
    • Ability To Maintain Strict Confidentiality
    • Ability To Use Computer & Other Standard Office Equipment
    • Attention To Detail


  • Can Do Attitude
    • Customer Service Experience a must!!
    • Good Communication/Writing Skills


  • Phone skills – will be on the phone the majority of the shift
    • Strong Work Ethic


  • Will require one night a week to work 10am – 7pm and another from Noon - 9pm, the other three days will be 8am – 5pm. This is nonnegotiable.

    All candidates must be:

  • At least 6 months recent work history within the last 12 months

  • At least 18 years old and can provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States

  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and/or drug screen
