Business Operations Support

Responsibilities

• Provide complex financial management and analysis across multiple Products and Projects. Purview includes products in market, emerging products, and new product ideas
• Work products include but are not limited to:
  • Business case development for product ideas
  • Capital management
  • Expense management
  • Performance reporting
  • Market analysis including TAM, CAGR and NPV
• Effectively communicate specific Business Plan deliverables and outcomes with stakeholders of all levels
• Partner with Product Managers as well as business unit POCs to gain insight to drivers behind business plan assumptions and challenge, where applicable, based on historical trends.
• Present high-quality, professional business insights at appropriate levels across the organization – from front-line to executive leadership
• Communicate performance, make recommendations, and enable important decision-making around top initiatives in the results-focused organization.

Support ad-hoc projects, analysis requests as required

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, related field or equivalent experience with Master's in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent preferred

- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint

- Proven analytical and deductive reasoning skills

- Proven ability to work with large amounts of multi-faceted data, creating insightful and meaningful information to be used in driving sound business decisions

- Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives at one time and successfully meet deadlines with little supervision

- Ability to work independently, communicate effectively and concisely, demonstrate high level of personal accountability, lead collaboratively, and apply critical thinking and sound judgment when faced with unstructured situations

- In-depth knowledge of Verizon finance and accounting systems and applications and product hierarchy preferred
