Sales Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

Our cleints in North Plains, Or is currently seeking a Sales Assistant. This position will be responsible for assisting the sales group in various support functions such as processing and invoicing orders, answering multi-line phone system and other sales and customer support activities as assigned.

Job Responsibilites:
-Assistance for salespeople
-Order entry, spreadsheet tracking
-Phone coverage and tracking of invoices
- Basic math (converting feet to inches)
- Heavy Excel usage, and work within their proprietary database.
- Some dispatching and sales as needed
- Office/administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong typing and computer skills including Microsoft Office applications * Experience performing receptionist functions including answering and transferring calls on a multi-line telephone system, sorting mail, filing, operating all typical office equipment. * Interact with all customers and co-workers in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner * Exceptional organizational and time management skills * Must be a flexible, motivated self-starter who can remain productive in both fast and slower paced situations * Must have a positive attitude and upbeat disposition * Previous customer service or sales support experience preferred * Performs other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned * Some accounting helpful but not necessary * Perform basic math functions
