America's largest voluntary health organization is looking for a potential candidate that is passionately committed to saving lives from cancer and providing quality hospitality service and care. This experienced individual who take on the role as the night manager and spend the evenings at the on-site lodging accommodations for patients currently going through cancer treatment. Responsibilities: *Report each evening to the Hope Lodge front desk and receive verbal report from person on duty. *Handles front desk activity for entire shift until Hope Lodge relief staff person arrives. *Handles guest check-ins and check-outs. *Provide New Guest Orientation following guidelines as defined in the Hope Lodge Guest book, to include collection of all required (signed) guest forms. *Enters guest data into reservation database. *Maintains awareness of all Hope Lodge residents and visitors. * Makes self aware of occupancy details (i.e., what rooms are utilized, expected evening arrivals and departures, special guest, etc.) *Manage guest relations as defined in Hope Lodge Operations Handbook. *Will be on-site and reachable to guests by emergency line during the shift hours. *Handles all emergencies that occur during the night, making the appropriate contacts and referrals. Prepares incident reports. *Manage housekeeping duties as defined in the Hope Lodge Operations Handbook. *Responsible for washing, drying, folding and putting away all laundry from rooms cleaned that day. *Patrol all floors on a regular basis, ensuring the building is noting any discrepancies or possible maintenance issues, and reports information to designated assigned parties. *Works in coordination with facility management to report any facility operational emergencies. *Assists with weekend activities with community groups and volunteers. *May assist with promotions of activities to guests, handling of guest communications, and sorting/distribution of guest mail. *Will follow guidelines as outlined in the Hope Lodge Operational Manual. *Other duties as assigned Work shift/hours: 12am-8pm $14/hour Requirements: *High school education or equivalent. *Must enjoy working with people and possess excellent customer service skills. *Excellent communication and organizational skills required. *Basic Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn registration database. *A valid driver's license is required. *Ability to safely lift a minimum of 25 pounds. **7 year Background & Credit Check will need to be performed. **Will need to be able to provide two professional references.
