CNC Programmer

Manpower of Shelby Township is currently looking for an experienced CNC Programmer for one of our top clients in the Fraser area. This is a contract to permanent opportunity for the right individual. Job Description Day shift opportunity Advanced knowledge of machine operations to develop CNC programs. Knowledge of tool feed and speed, tool changes, and sequence of operations, Requires minimal supervision and ability to provide assistance to CNC machine operators. Familiar with Fanuc, Haas, and Mitsubishi CNC controls. Uses MasterCAM to develop CNC programs according to company standards, checks programs and provides files to the CNC operators for machining. Make copies of drawings and maintains information regarding changes to database. Responsibilities: Uses MasterCAM to develop CNC programs Utilizes knowledge of various machines, machines practices Responsible for maintaining an organized file system for Production Drawings and Programs Communicate with customer, Manufacturing and Inside Sales regarding new and revised prints Requirements: Advanced computer knowledge Use simple math to perform perform basic calculations, and use basic hand held measuring tools Complete understanding of Mold Base Assembly Experience with programming and machine steels Knowledge of 2D and 3D programming Advanced CAD CAM and or Master CAM Min. 5 years of experience Willingness to submit to a drug screen/background check
