Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: (other duties may be assigned as necessary)
■Sorts, counts, folds, marks or carries linens and makes beds.
■Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses, bathroom and writing supplies.
■Renders personal assistance to guests. Moves furniture and hangs drapes.
■Sweeps, scrubs and waxes floor.
■Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies.
■Dusts furniture, walls, ceilings and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels and sills.
■Empties and cleans wastebaskets.
■Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
■Replaces light bulbs.
■Reports repairs needed to supervisor.
■Turns in lost and found items as per policy.
■Other cleaning duties could include condos, hotel and general public areas.
