Production Planner

We are partnering with a reputable organization in the Windsor area who has an immediate need for a Production Planner. This is a temp-hire opportunity.





Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers. Responsible for directing the activities of all production departments.

• Assist in setting policies, controls and manufacturing schedules with concurrence with Facility Manager to meet overall operation goals and objectives.

• Assist in the training and evaluation of employees to ensure compliance to customer, federal and internal requirements for safety, environmental and general housekeeping practices.

• May be required to periodically set-up and operate machinery and equipment as the need arises. Reviews and approve time cards, vacation requests, evaluate and discipline employees as stated under company policy.

• Completes special projects or other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of three years of experience as a Production Planner
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and must be extremely reliable
• Experience working with an MRP or ERP system a huge plus
