About the Opportunity

As an Assistant Manager you will support the Store Manager managing all day-to-day operations of an individual store to achieve targeted productivity, sales, and profitability. You will help ensure customer service, store image, merchandise presentation and cost control are in alignment with company standards. Training and motivation of store personnel are critical aspects of this position, as are monitoring merchandise needs and inventory levels via communication with the Merchandise Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Ready to assume Store Management responsibilities in the absences of the Store Manager.
  • Supervise all in-store operations to achieve sales, service and profitability objectives.
  • Continuously mentor & develop personnel for store.
  • Maintain Training/Product Knowledge, SPORD, Traffic, and Store Selling Assessment Log binders.
  • Demonstrate salesmanship skills by maintaining sales and accessory levels as per KPI established goals, and acts as a role model by setting the example for other sales personnel to follow.


Requirements:
  • 2+ years of successful experience in a retail environment
  • Proven sales skills and demonstrated experience meeting and/or exceeding sales targets
  • Enthusiastic and energetic personality
