Sanford, Florida company seeks Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
1 st shift, Monday thru Friday.
Pre-screening testing may be required.
Requirements include:
-
Proficiency in reading Blueprints. -
Sheet Metal Shop experience preferred. -
Comprehensive knowledge of inspection gauges and methods, including, but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, protractors, height gage, tape rules, CMM, Ferro Arm, Virtek, etc. -
Ability to calibrate instruments using Gauge Pack Software. -
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes: stamping, laser, CNC punch, press brake and welding or similar manufacturing environment.
Duties include:

Performing internal audits of QMS. -
Qualifying templates / gauges used for in-process inspections. -
Developing of Continual Improvement tasks. -
Good understanding of the ISO requirements and related QMS processes. -
Understanding the factors that impact the Cost of Quality figures. -
1 st Piece Approval Process.
