We are seeking a Senior Letter Coordinator to join our Honolulu, HI office. In this position you will be responsible for generating and creating letters according to state and federal guidelines. You will be responsible for reviewing the letter templates to ensure all of the information included is relevant and accurate for the member and provider. You will need to be capable of working efficiently within programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel. You will be responsible for meeting the department production and quality goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Follow department Standard Operating Procedures for handling of cases.
Work independently to successfully prioritize work load to meet established TAT.
Assist other team members with complex cases.
Assist with special projects, as needed.
Act as SME in multiple state requirements and LOBs (will be seen as the "go to" person by supervisors, manager, or other team members in multiple areas).
Understand and work in accordance to State regulations/contractual requirements related to:
- Time frames,
- Reading grade levels,
- Template requirements, and
- State meetings, as required.
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED.
2+ years of Customer Service experience.
2+ years of experience working with a computer and phone simultaneously to perform the job duties.
1+ year of experience working with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Must be available to work until 6:00 pm and be open to work holidays and Saturdays, as business needs dictate.
Qualifications:
- Previous Medical Insurance experience.
- Knowledge of Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services.
- Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of
hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, and long
periods of close vision looking at a computer monitor. - Service Center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activity.
