Job Description
- Machine operator position available in Packaging Department.
- Set up and work on machines that prepare and package newspapers for delivery
- Order pickers and packers fill, pack and ship customer orders from stored merchandise in accordance with specifications on sales slips or order forms.
- Place merchandise on conveyors leading to wrapping areas.
- Requisition additional materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
- Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
Job Requirements
- Good hand eye coordination
- Math and mechanical skills
- Able to lift up to 40lbs
- Works well under pressure
- Steel toe shoes
- Hearing protection
Ideal Candidates
- Experience preferred
- Committed to safety at all times
- Excellent attendance
Pay Rate: $8.25/hr
Shift/Hours: Varies
