*Senior Lease Compliance Analyst* As part of the Real Estate Accounting group, this role will multi task through four functions on an annual basis: (a) audit and account reconciliation, (b) lease abstraction, (c) payment processing and customer service, and (d) landlord invoices, store occupancy costs and reporting of gross sales. This position will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of the above and to include dispute resolutions. The position must be able to professionally communicate with external and internal cross-functional audiences to include, but not limited to, landlords, management companies, and the Real Estate Legal, Tax, Maintenance, Design and Development departments. Specifically, the job responsibilities include: * Responsible for ensuring the timely calculation and processing of sales reports and related percentage rent payments performed by Lease Compliance Analyst in accordance with the applicable lease documents; * Assist with Audit and Sox Compliance testing, ensuring lease terms are accurately reflected in the TRIRIGA lease administration system * Researches and resolves vendor inquiries regarding non-payment of invoices, as well as, short paid invoices * Prepares monthly rent roll through TRIRIGA lease administration system and manual check requests * Prepare written notices to landlords in satisfaction of lease reporting requirements for items such as lease defaults, charge disputes and gross sales reporting; * Coordinate, gather and review information/responses to assist with legal compliance on real estate leasing portfolio on estoppels, consents and other legal matters; * Oversee, develop and maintain the processes, procedures and filing systems of the department's mail, inter-department routings, work papers and other document retention requirements to include tracking and routing of all correspondence received from external constituents such as defaults, statements and reconciliations; * Ensure payment and credit requests are properly authorized and reflect appropriate charges in accordance with the applicable lease documents; * Assist in the preparation of annual forecasts/budgets relating to leases; * Review, supervise and provide guidance to Staff Lease Compliance Analyst; * Assist managers and others within the department on Ad Hoc projects and requests, as needed. * Bachelors degree in relevant field is required; * 8 to 10 years related experience; * Property management work experience in mall-based retail/commercial real estate is a plus * Able to work independently and multitask several projects in a fast-paced environment; * Manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables; * Strong attention to details and accuracy; * Ability to interpret complex retail/commercial lease language; * Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships; * Strong written and verbal communication skills; * Solid organizational, analytical and problem solving skills; * Strong computer skills related to Microsoft Office and Tririga a plus; * Efficient, proactive, responsive, team player. **Job Function:** Finance **Primary Location:** USA-NJ-Wayne **Schedule:** Full-time **Organization:** Headquarters **Job Type:** Standard **Education Level:** Bachelor's Degree **Travel:** No **Brand:** Toys 'R' US **Req ID:** 58890
