About this job

The Purchasing Assistant will work at the direction of the Purchasing Manager, usingestablished in-house and vendor supplied ordering systems/methods for the following activities:
* Coordinate supply replenishment requests for Company Stores, Home Office and Distribution Center.
* Support the supply fulfillment process for Company initiatives and new stores.
* Perform administrative functions which include but are not limited to: processing allpurchase orders, tracking deliverables and receipts, and maintaining data entry and purchasing system item files.
* Maintains department budget reporting and files.

* Organize Distribution Center and Home Office vending, coffee, food programs and water service vendors.

* Source new item requests and conduct vendor evaluations.

* Assist with special projects as assigned.
