About this job
Aerotek is currently working with a global leader providing a full range of engineering services and solutions to its customers worldwide. There are currently two Project Engineer positions, one of which is a bilingual English/Spanish engineer.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the implementation of various systems at customer locations across North America. (Some in Europe)
- Travel onsite to customer location and evaluate their system needs.
- Identify and outline the equipment and resources needed to complete projects to customer specifications.
- Plan, schedule, and manage the projects to meet technical requirements.
- Assist with quotes and provide technical assistance to engineers regarding product specifications, installation, and servicing.
- Identify opportunities for product/process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but other engineering disciplines would be considered as well.
- Knowledge of mechanical or hydraulic systems or products, preferably hands on.
- Experience managing projects
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time, some international travel.
