Area Facility Maintenance Technician - Full-time

Full Time Area Maintenance Technician

Zoom Tan has an immediate need for an Area Maintenance Technician to support the Buffalo district. This District extends from Lockport to Hamburg and is currently comprised of 15 locations. The ideal candidate will be centrally located in the area supported.

Zoom Tan a fast growing chain of retail and service locations with over 90 open stores throughout Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.

Candidates for this role must be able to perform the essential functions listed below and maintain a valid driver license.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Maintain and repair all salon equipment as directed by maintenance log requests.*
Coordinate and assist with all improvement changes for salons.*
Coordinate and assist with improvements to existing salons.*
Ensure completion of Corporate directives in a timely manner.*
Log all maintenance and needs as directed per supervisor.*
Moving and assisting in transportation of furniture and equipment.*
Act and make decisions in the best interest of the company.*
Ensure effective communication between corporate and salon locations.*
Verify quality control is maintained in all locations.*
Follow all company policies and procedures.*
Attend all assigned meetings.*
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Computer capabilities.
1-3 years commercial maintenance experience.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Ability to use various power and hand tools efficiently.
Ability to Multi-Task.
Should follow oral or written instructions.
Excellent/proven written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent/proven at interacting with others in a service environment to include: members, management, staff and suppliers.
Excellent/proven time management skills and working independently with minimal or no supervision.
Capable of effectively handling the physical demands of the job, which can involve lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted, constant bending and lifting, and working from knees or low to the floor.
Previous knowledge and experience with repairing mechanical equipment ideal.
