Counter Worker – Part Time

Counter Workers assist in the overall operation of concession stands.  This is a part-time, event-based position located within the Food and Beverage Department of the Honda Center.   Hours for this position fluctuate depending upon arena event schedule.

Examples of Duties/Essential Functions:

• Expedite guest food orders in a timely manner at concession stands
• Stock product, set up set up condiment stations, cashier stations and display baskets.
• Assist in preparation of food items
• Assist cashiers with orders and pouring beverages
• Check concessions equipment to ensure proper use
• Understand responsible alcohol service
• Understand sanitation and food safety
• Other duties as assigned

Qualification Standards: 

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy
• Strong communication skills
• Works well with others; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
• Flexible schedule – candidates must be able to work 90% of all monthly events; ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
