Nationally recognized Flamingo Road Nursery and Farmers Market is the local leader in gardening/outdoor lifestyle products and we offer a beautiful work environment! Our 10 acre facility consists of a gift shop, garden center, florist, farmers market and event venue. In addition to our retail operation, we host the largest Fall Festival in South Florida. The 6 week event, starting September 27, features hayrides, food, kids crafts and a gigantic pumpkin patch! In December, we celebrate Christmas with live cut Christmas trees and sleigh rides!
This position requires customer service skills, initiative, an interest in merchandising and a strong work ethic. In addition to assisting customers, daily tasks involve receiving shipments of plants, affixing pricing labels, watering plants, maintaining plant displays to maximize presentation and customer appeal, loading cars and continually working our grounds to ensure a safe and pleasant environment.
