Experienced Sr. Mechanical Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

The Mechanical Engineer will be a key player in the development and design of components for our client's current and future products. Responsibilities will include: -Designing and modeling components within the client's system -Evaluating and implementing design for manufacturing processes to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness -Identifying new products and technologies to support operational improvements -Performing hands on component and systems testing and analytical studies -Managing a variety of projects including alpha and beta prototype design, construction and installation at customer sites -Documenting all system functions -Additional responsibilities as assigned Requirements: -BS in Mechanical Engineering -15 years of engineering experience -Understanding of a wide variety of engineering disciplines -Knowledge of modeling, design, analysis and project management software -Self-motivated with excellent communication skills -Ability to meet deadlines with a high sense of urgency Preferred qualifications include: -System integration experience involving thermal mechanics -Manufacturing and/or assembly experience -Experience with SBIR, military and government contracts This is a fantastic career opportunity that should not be missed!
