ManpowerGroup is seeking an Office Technician to help support our client's team. This is a temporary assignment that will last approximately one year. The pay rate is $15/hr.
**Experience in AutoCAD is a plus
**Experience reading blueprints
JOB SUMMARY
*Provide manufacturing with proper documentation (Activity Instructions, Product Criteria, Engineering Orders, etc)
*Facilitate in-plant review of customer specifications, manufacturing documents and blue prints.
*Support the requirements of the Systems
*Primary control point for manufacturing and quality system documentation
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Process manufacturing documentation in a timely and accurate manner per standard processes and formats
*Process customer specifications and blue prints
*Coordinate the review of manufacturing documentation by engineering, manufacturing and quality
*Coordinate the review of customer specifications and blue prints by engineering, sales and quality
*Maintain open lines of communication with engineering, manufacturing, quality and sales.
*Conduct periodic quality systems audits.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
*Create/change, release and archive manufacturing work instructions, activity instructions, and other such documentation
*Maintain controlled blueprint files and specification files
*Receive, review and compare all blueprints, manufacturing documents and specification to identify revisions and changes for review by document users
*Conduct quality systems audits under the guidance of the Quality Systems Engineer
*Performs other work related duties as assigned
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency is required.
Skills and Abilities:
Team oriented, understanding of quality system requirements, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, demonstrated oral and written skills, maintain open lines of communication with manufacturing, engineering and quality, proficient with MS Office applications and basic AutoCAD.
Physical Demands:
Employee is required to execute the following:
*Occasional bending, reaching, pushing and pulling when retrieving and moving various items
*Lifting intermittently of various items. Typically, assistance would be provided for weights exceeding 35 pounds
*Good manual dexterity to operate computer equipment and precision measuring instruments
*Sitting in chairs (swivel, padded, and adjustable)
*Squatting / crouching when retrieving stored items from lower shelves and file cabinets, making equipment / product inspections, etc
*Standing intermittently
*Visual monitoring of computer screens
*Visual viewing of processing equipment, precision measuring instruments, prints, reports, manuals, procedures and an assortment of printed items
Equipment Used:
Computer and specialized applications for document management
*Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals.
*Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
*Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
*Report all job related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
*Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
*Attend all EHS training.
