Labor Ready is currently hiring for Precast Production Worker in the Shaftsbury, VT area. This is an excellent temporary-to-hire opportunity with a great company!

 

Job Description

Under the direction of the Team Leader and Production Supervisor, builds high quality concrete components, maintains positive communication, always strives for best practices, always conscious of safety, takes pride and responsibility for the work that is done and product that is created. Required to understand and practice 5S method: sort, store, shine, standardize and sustain.

 

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Commit to understanding and utilizing 5S methods: sort, store, shine, standardize, sustain
• Maintain safe work environment; follow company safety policies and procedures, use personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Understand and practice guidelines in company Quality System Manual, PCI Manual, NYS D.O.T. Quality System Manual, and any state specific and/or job specific guidelines and job books
• Attend meetings and/or training sessions as required; possess willingness to learn new techniques and obtain new certifications and skills
• Agility, standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting lifting up to 80 lbs

Pay Rate: $12.50/hr; Starting wage is negotiable based on experience. Merit increases may be earned based on excellent performance and attendance.
