The
College Recruiter I is responsible for recruitment of college
candidates across an assigned spectrum of roles, geographies and/or
functions.  These are likely to include both higher-volume entry level
roles, but could include recruitment of candidates to fill individual
positions. Responsibilities include developing on-campus recruitment
plans, acting as a consultant to Campus Teams and Hiring Managers
throughout the hiring process, and delivering on expected hiring goals. 
The Recruiter manages the process, selection, offer, negotiation,
closing and administrative components involved in making a college
hire.  The Recruiter is also accountable for managing interactions with
candidates in accordance with employment law and in a manner that
fosters transparency, simplicity and respect.

 

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Partner with campus teams and hiring managers to develop on-campus recruitment plans.
  • Partner
    with coordinator to manage on-campus job postings and understand
    various candidate tracking programs used by each campus – assisting when
    recruitment volume dictates.
  • Partner with College/University staff to execute recruitment plan and reach specific student populations.
  • Maintain
    strategic relationships with key business partners, including but not
    limited to campus teams, human capital partners, and on-campus career
    services offices.
  • Responsible
    for communications with the campus teams (hiring manager) throughout
    the recruitment process, acting as a consultant and influencing
    stakeholders to drive for the best solution while leveraging RS
    knowledge.
  • Assist with
    candidate selection process as needed, including attending career fairs,
    interviewing on campus and assisting with the organization and
    execution of office visits for final selection of candidates.
  • Responsible
    for communications with candidates throughout recruitment process,
    managing interactions in accordance with employment law and in a manner
    that fosters transparency, simplicity and respect. Includes consulting
    with compensation, hiring managers and human capital partners as
    appropriate to create and extend competitive verbal offers.
  • Work with recruiting coordinator to initiate offer and candidate processing including background check and drug screening.
  • Document and maintain data on sharepoint site, shared drive, and tracking documents as needed.
  • Continuously
    seek opportunities to implement process improvements to enhance hiring
    manager and candidate experience and expand the program.
  • Demonstrate
    diversity awareness and utilize sourcing techniques that reach diverse
    populations.  Actively champion diversity recruitment strategies (i.e.
    Diversity Externship Program).
  • Research, build and document knowledge of the competitive landscape in order to anticipate and overcome potential obstacles.
  • Resolve
    routine concerns and/or escalates to appropriate area for more complex
    recruitment concerns. Use interaction to positively impact the
    constituent attitudes.
  • Administrative
    duties as needed, includes processing invoices and expenses for
    program, providing data tracking to monitor process, completing survey
    requests from colleges and universities as  regarding all internship and
    FT hires and assisting with special business needs (i.e. assessment
    tests, writing samples, temporary housing.)

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or HS diploma/GED with 4+ Years equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of College recruitment or human capital experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledgeable in various employment laws including those of EEO and AA guidelines a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Communications
