Specific Job Summary



Primary Objective:
Analyzes, designs, and develops smaller, less complex technical solutions (interfaces, performance tuning, utilities or diagnostics) to business problems.



Scope:
  • Provides technical development and support skills in a well-defined area of expertise with knowledge of at least one environment (mainframe, midrange, client-server, open system, LAN/WAN, etc.)

Specific Expected Contributions



Key Accountabilities:
  • Gathers basic functional requirements, design specifications and operations requirements for a system in support of the technical infrastructure (network, telephony, internet/intranet, or operating systems) within IR standards
  • Assists in end-to-end problem resolutions, performance analysis, and tuning as required.
  • Assists senior staff in implementation or maintenance of database systems
  • Modifies and maintains existing technical infrastructure systems in order to meet internal and external user requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance to projects.
  • Assists/performs organized systems test and post implementation audits to determine proper system functionality
  • Executes against a defined project plan with minimal assistance, including schedules, deliverables and measurements
  • Provides escalated support for production needs and systems maintenance to ensure service levels
  • Assists in problem resolution
  • Researches technology solutions to solve less complex issues on behalf of a department or customer
  • May provide input to work estimates and department/project budgets
  • May assist in certifying systems/products and evaluating technical products/solutions.

  • Innovates technology solutions in support of the customer that meet service levels
  • Keeps supported systems production-sound on basis of technical expertise

Responsibilities:
  • Creates and maintains prototypical and project-specific items and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for the CFRST brands within the PeopleSoft Orders module to ensure accuracy as it relates to specific brand requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for A&C's Project Purchasing's information systems applications as Subject Matter Expert (SME). SME role will evaluate PeopleSoft system issues and determine the appropriate approach for addressing each issue.
  • Assist department managers in implementing efficient and effective policies and procedures for managing the A&C ReMaps PeopleSoft application .
  • Work closely with A&C System's team to identify, prioritize and resolve systems issues.
  • Communicate the status of systems issues and their resolution to end users.
  • Assist in the analysis and prioritization of future PeopleSoft modifications.
  • Analyze trends and patterns in PeopleSoft problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain PeopleSoft Queries.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of the A&C ReMap training program.
  • Provide periodic informal and formal training for PeopleSoft users (Procurement, Finance and Interior Design).
  • Participate in testing of new PeopleSoft reports and/or processes.
  • Represent the department in future systems upgrades.
  • Monitor or run periodic PeopleSoft reconciliations as required to identify system and user errors.
  • Provide user support for single user Microsoft Access databases or Microsoft Excel macros for users.
  • Assist with the management of department's computer hardware.
  • Represent Systems and Procurement in divisional meetings, when required.
  • Support Buzzsaw enhancements/development within A&C division
  • Manage eProcurement security, vendor setup and training. Develop parameters to determine success of eProcurement vendor's involvement/data entry in conjunction with Procurement Systems Manager and Sr. Purchasing Managers.
  • Manage PO Match Reset process for Procurement users.
  • Manage ReMap Rights Renewal and Security requests on a quarterly basis
  • Assist in the management of eFax system in conjunction with Procurement Systems Manager and Sr. Purchasing Managers.
  • Maintain Non-Approved Vendors - Setup and Manage Vendor clean up.
  • Provide overall system's support for Procurement Systems Manager and Sr. Purchasing Managers.
