Position: Plant accountant / Inventory Administrator

Location: Leetsdale, Pa

Pay: $14.00/Hour

Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8 am to 4:30/5 pm.

SUMMARY:

The Plant Accounting/Inventory Administrator is located at a warehouse in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania and reports directly to the Corporate Controller and indirectly to the Warehouse Manager in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania. The Plant Accounting/Inventory Administrator is responsible for processing and entering daily warehouse transactions into the inventory management system and invoicing customers for sales of inventory. This self-motivated individual is a team player with highly developed organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills who is capable of working with minimal supervision and has a strong attention to detail.

DUTIES:

  • Timely and accurate daily processing and entering of material receipts, delivery tickets, credit tickets, stock transfers, and adjustment reports into inventory management system;
  • Match documents with appropriate back up materials (bills of lading, purchase orders, etc.) and distribute the Corp. accounting office;
  • Timely and accurate daily preparation of customer invoices and credit notes;
  • Meet all Inventory and Accounts Receivable month-end cut off deadlines;
  • Match invoices with appropriate back up materials and distribute to customers;
  • Assist with physical inventory counts;
  • Set up and maintain well sites in the inventory management system;
  • Backup for entry of production reports;
  • Daily communication regarding transactions with appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain, enter, and review employee time cards and submit to corporate accounting office
  • Communication with internal and external personnel on a regular basis to investigate and resolve any concerns or inquiries;
  • Develop and maintain a good rapport with customers and vendors by providing outstanding customers service via phone, email, and personal contact;
  • Verify that transactions comply with financial and company policies and procedures;
  • General office duties including phones, filing, photocopying, printing, etc.
  • Other duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum 2-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Understanding of inventory flow and inventory transactions.
  • A/R Invoicing of inventory desired.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent data entry skills;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to solve problems independently
