Our client is a third party company that supports large insurance carriers. Through their online portal, they help individual consumers "shop" for healthcare coverage. Their huge agent network is available to answer any questions that consumers may have and they act as "experts" to help make recommendations on what healthcare plan would match the consumer best. This company wrote over 1 billion dollars of premium last year, and plans to increase that number for this season.

This position offers a competitive base pay plus commission structure. All calls are pre-screened to determine interest before ever reaching the sales agent.

Our client provides training and pays for each and every candidate to obtain their Illinois Life and Health Insurance Producer license.

Insurance Sales Agent

DUTIES:
- Manage a high volume of consumer calls (leads) , calls can last 20-30 minutes or more
- Follow a script to ask needs-based questions
- Convert calls to enrollments through matching the consumer with the healthcare plan that matches them best
- Create rapport with callers, listen to their individual needs
- Utilize the CRM system to place follow up calls to consumers who did not enroll on the 1st call
- Provide solutions and information, Ask for the sale!!
- Log consumer information within the CRM
