Mechanical Assembler - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

-Package and label products.
-General production.
-Use computer to transact product, check stock, communicate with other departments
-Have an understanding of manufacturing protocol & terminology (e.g., inventory, work-in-process, etc.)
-Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment required
-coordinate the manufacture of products in different productions areas, including running of reports, deploying labor.
-Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics
-Operates tube machines with minimal supervision.
Monitors quality of products manufactured.
-Ensures safe work environment.
-Operates automatic saws with minimal supervision as required.
-Operates manual saws with minimal supervision as required.
-Dust and deburr tubes in accordance with procedures and specifications.
-Adhere to all safety procedures.
-Use veniers to measure tubes
-Operate packaging equipment
-Perform other duties and functions as required to keep the Media area fully operational
-Assembles products according to engineering drawings and methods.
