The Senior Mobile Site Merchandiser is an internal champion for guest satisfaction at Target, helping to drive mobile merchandising and identify opportunities to delight guests and turn those into new product experiences. The individual is responsible for developing customer insights and competitive intelligence that lead to compelling, tangible improvements in the end-to-end guest shopping experience. You will have the responsibility for the revenue and the guest experience of a key flow by optimizing mobile conversion, profitability, and supporting enterprise sales across categories. You will collaborate with category site merchandisers on strategy and tactics to provide the best guest experience to easily find and buy products through merchandising, content development/curation, web data analysis, and search/browse optimization. As a mobile merchandiser you will take the lead as you implement and optimize the mobile merchandising strategies focused on key conversion drivers, optimal device presentation, maximizing guest engagement and shopping experience, and driving multichannel efforts.

Computer Usage
This individual will need to exercise exceptional technical and problem-solving skills, and fact-based analytic skills. Demonstrated ability to perform in a data driven environment; the ideal candidate will be as comfortable engaging with customers as they will be solving and sizing problems with their analysts. Leverage web metrics (conversion, funnel, etc.), sales data, department/category knowledge and merchandising/marketing plans in order to determine business actions. Will be responsible for driving A/B or multi-variant testing in order to measure the performance of a product feature. You will drive accountability of everything we do from a merchandising and product development perspective; line of sight into the business impact we're driving via testing and measurement.
Project, Process, and Program Management
it's a high-energy, high-impact role for someone who has a passion for tackling complex problems and delivering significant business results in the mobile space. A successful candidate will have clear line of sight into how their results moved the business and will be able to point to the changes they led to Target mobile that improved the experience for Target's multichannel guests. You will be responsible for leveraging data, customer insights and competitive information to build business cases to support the development of new product features.
Professional Involvement
Mobile evangelist to the company. On occasion may have opportunities to work with Marketing and PR to develop launch announcements and speak to members of the industry on the development of new products and features.
Data Analysis
This role works on highly trafficked pages and features that shape the guest experience on Target, with an emphasis on acquisition, engagement, and conversion. In this role you will be responsible for building customer findings and data insights on these key flows and developing them into actionable and prioritized insights and then work with counterparts in Target's Product & Technology organization to turn these into project roadmaps. You would then drive these projects live to sight and leverage product metrics and customer feedback to inform iterative development to hit financial targets, while ensuring the execution delights our guests and drives business performance. This position requires a highly motivated, resourceful and internet-savvy individual that can pull together market research, customer insights, and data analysis to deliver timely intelligence on emerging trends and customer needs in m-commerce.
Financial Analysis
Own working with product teams to identify and prioritize the product features aimed to deliver the biggest ROI. Responsible for reporting out performance against goals, risks, and driving contingency planning. Will be responsible for developing dashboards to track and report on business and product performance and present to leadership progress against goals.
Guest and Competitor Insights
Use data analytics and guest and competitor insights to drive the overall mobile business. You will serve as the voice of site merchandising, the linkage to other critical cross-functional teams/initiatives and link into mobile looking across all of mobile holistically.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education Expectations: 4 year degree or equivalent
Specific Type of Degree: Preferably in business, engineering, economics or a related discipline
Job Related Experience: A minimum of 8 years’ experience
Specific Experience: Online and/or mobile experience while leading Web company and/or consumer marketer (previous e-commerce experience a big plus). Ideal candidate will have 3+ years in a dedicated analytic or product role in addition to experience in a generalist/strategic role. Effective communication skills included demonstrated ability to share insights and actionable recommendations in a concise and persuasive manner. Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently exceed objectives. Experience in a highly collaborative, matrix'd organization; proven ability to drive results cross-functionally without direct management of all team members. Experience with ecommerce tools for optimizing web site experiences (product recommendation engines, personalization tools, CMS)
