Mechanical Assembly/Builder (EP) - Full-time / Part-time

A Military Defense and Aerospace Company is hiring for a Mechanical Assembler to add to their dynamic team in Chesterfield, MI. This is a full time, contract to hire, position on a day shift. The ideal candidate will have solid work history, excellent attendance and a great attitude!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relation to the product, process and quality system.
Identify and record any problems relation the product, process and quality system.
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
Verify the implementation of solutions.
Control further processing or deliver of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
Assembled product according to instructions.

REQUIRMENTS:
Blue print reading.
Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of some electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication.
Proficient with hand tools and must provide own.
Able to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

PAY, SHIFT & BENEFITS:
$18-20.00+ per hour, depending on experience.
1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm), Monday through Friday (overtime available).
