A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred but not required.
Previous automotive experience is required and GOOD communication skills. 5-6 years experience as a Quality Engineer
This is a Tier 1 automotive supplier. The biggest customer they have right now is GM. They have a new audit coming up and need someone who is able to prepare the PPAP for the audit. This person will be on the floor 30% of the time and 70% behind the desk documenting paperwork. This is a very team-oriented environment and they have to be able to communicate well.
They have to be able to know how to run with PPAPs, communicate well, gauge R&Rs and be ready to handle a lot of paperwork documentation. They will be getting ready for a QS audit and in charge of preparing the PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and samples. They NEED to be a problem solver.
