About this job
A steel processing company in Carol Stream is looking for an overall warehouse associate. The job would entail doing a variety of tasks including mateiral handling, building wooden skids, general upkeep of facility, and assisting machine operators.
The shifts are 12 hours (5:00am-5:00pm, or 5:00pm-5:00am) and 6 days a week. It is a large time committment but includes a large amount of overtime work.
The job requires to be on your feet for the entirity of the 12 hours shift as well as moderate lifting.
An ideal candidate would have previous expereince in a heavy manufacturing environment and be able to easily utilize basic hand and power tools.
