Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising other staff associates while on duty, and providing training and coaching in all aspects of the Dementia Care Program
* Planning and coordinating on-and-off-campus life enriching programs and activities for our memory care residents in both one-on-one and group settings
* Ensuring all life-enrichment programs meet state, federal and other regulations
* Strengthening local community involvement and volunteering through promotion of the community and residents
* Ensuring residents are treated with respect and dignity, and encouraging independence
* Developing, planning and participating in the daily and weekly Clare Bridge program

We seek the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree preferred with an emphasis in Social Welfare, Psychology, or Recreation; High School Diploma or GED required
* Five (5) years of experience in activity/recreation planning, including experience in working with senior adults
* Basic knowledge of PC's and word processing software, along with proficient typing skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills and energetic to engage resident participation
* Flexibility with schedule, including availability to work weekends
* Must enjoy working with the senior population
