Key responsibilities include:
* Directing and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities
* Ensuring the highest degree of quality care in accordance with resident needs, government regulations, and our internal policies and procedures
* Determining shift staffing requirements
* Participating in employee performance evaluations
* Conducting in-service training classes
* Developing and implementing the department’s quality assurance program
* Ensuring the department has adequate supplies and equipment

Position requirements include:
* Current Registered Nurse or Practical Nursing Licensure for the state of OR
* Two years years of nursing experience, including supervisory experience
* I.V. Certification
* Experience in a Skilled Nursing setting preferred
* Must be a strong team player with proven leadership and supervisory skills
* Excellent verbal/written English communication skills are required
* Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
