Key responsibilities include:
* Directs workers engaged in the maintenance and upkeep of the interior and exterior of the residence; inspects completed work for conformance to standards and policies
* Oversees schedule maintenance on: H.V.A.C., elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment
* Assesses all plumbing and electrical problems within the residence and determines the best course of action to correct the problem; works within the legal scope of local and state codes
* Reviews material safety data sheets (MSDS) as requested for potential exposure to hazardous chemicals used and take necessary precautions
* Interviewing, hiring and training employees

We seek the following principal qualifications:
* HVAC, electrical, plumbing and equipment repairs experience necessary
* 3 years experience in facilities management or building maintenance within the senior living or hospitality industries
* Multi-site experience required
* Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
* Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
