A company in the Independence, OH area is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to add to their team. This person will be responsible for the following:
Job Duties:
*Work with 3 other engineers with the design/engineering group
*Perform design of new equipment within Solidworks and AutoCAD
*Perform mostly assembly design of multiple components for their equipment
*Create bills of materials and project estimates
*Review current and new designs for cost reduction opportunities within engineering and production
*Support sales team for any technical questions from customer or perspective customer base
Requirements:
- BSME, or equivalent engineering degree
- 2+ years of experience in Solidworks and AutoCAD
- 2+ years of experience with concept to completion design
- 2+ years of experience with machine design or heavy/large equipment design
- FEA experience is a huge plus
