Diesel Mechanic
We're looking for a skilled diesel mecahnic to fill a position out in Cameron, MO. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience working on diesel school buses or vehicles, and must be confident enough in your skills to work with minimal supervision. We offer full time hours, benefits, and competitive pay rates. If you think you could be a great fit, we want to here from you.
Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Routine and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform vehicle repairs
- Steering, electrical, cooling, brake systems, drive trains, suspension, transmissions, etc.
- Repair malfunction to all vehicle systems, overhaul, tune and repair engines.
- Repair and maintain hydraulic systems.
- Maintain a safe, clean and productive work area.
- Other duties may be assigned
Job Requirements
Qualified Candidates For The Diesel Mechanic Position Will Have Met The Following:
- Required:
- Equivalent of a high school diploma or GED
- 3 years of related maintenance and repair
- Must furnish own tools
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Preferred:
- ASE certifications highly desirable
- Experience working on diesel school buses
- CDL highly desirable
