Data Communications Analyst

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Data Communications Analyst to help support our client's team. This is a temporary assignment that will last approximately three months. The pay rate is $52/hr. Description: This opportunity is with predictive analytics team. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical assistance by performing data migration, data analytics, economic modeling, simulation, production analytics and reporting. Additional responsibilities include data cleansing, data analysis, project planning and management, developing custom workflows, and presenting and discussing discoveries. PRIMARY DUTIES: *Lead data processing including indexing, analysis, quality control, data migration, and production *Learn production simulation model and technology and document specifications. *Create proactive and reactive custom reports based on client needs, and other specialized tasks including interaction with internal and external clients. *Coordinate with project team to respond to any project related queries and work with others to provide solutions. *Troubleshoot issues, prepare summaries, document processes and workflows, propose solutions, and collaborate and communicate with internal team members. *Assist with internal software maintenance and improvements, provide product enhancement feedback, coordinate the deployment of tools and workflows, perform user acceptance testing, and compile results with the team. *Manage storage resources and generate reports for archiving and backup. *Reading, researching, collecting and analyzing information. *Manage ETL packages and SAP BO reporting, Generating reports, presentations, graphics, forms, and other documents to demonstrate information flow and program results. *Customer-service oriented to meet client deadlines. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: *Must have a B.S. or a B.A. degree in technical field (computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, etc.) *Minimum of 1 year work experience or course work related to R, SQL / Access database / Programming basics *Course work or experience in statistics and probability. PREFERRED SKILLS: *Natural curiosity and flexibility in problem solving. *Analytical skills. *Experience in data processing. *Familiarity with data manipulation, data conversion and data analysis using SQL, MS Access and Excel. *SSIS and SAP Business objects, Basic programming skills (C++, Java, Visual Basic, .net development) *Knowledge of R, data modeling, matlab, promodel nice to have *Good understanding of hardware, software and networking. *Excellent communication and client interfacing skills (verbal and written). *Ability to work independently multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment. *Manages time and prioritizes tasks effectively.
