MANPOWER has immediate DIRECT HIRE opportunities for experienced Machine Adjusters to work in the Smyrna area. The Machine Adjuster is responsible for adjusting, maintaining, and troubleshooting envelope folding machines to create envelopes per client specification. Candidates must have a keen eye for detail, experience with manual machines, strong mechanical and technical experience, and able to work 2nd or 3rd shift. This position will pay $13.50 per. However, the company is willing to increase that rate for candidates who can show longevity with current/previous employers and have relevant, relatable experience . Job Responsibilities: * Set-up, adjust, maintain and troubleshoot folding machine * Have the ability to accurately measure lengths and widths using a ruler/tape measure * Read schematics and templates * Quality checks on final products * Perform routine and non-routine maintenance * Strong mechanical ability required * Must work well with small measurements * Position requires extreme attention to detail Qualifications: * 2-3 years of machine adjusting, set-up, and maintenance experience * Previous experience in envelope manufacturing preferred * Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds * High School Diploma or GED required * All candidates must be able to pass a criminal background investigation and drug screen For immediate consideration, please apply with your current resume!
