Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking an Inventory Assistant that will support receiving returned product and entering orders into Oracle. This is a 1st shift position (roughly 8 am to 4:30 pm) and is full time. We are seeking a dynamic employee that has experience in inventory management that is comfortable with the physical duties of receiving product and the clerical duties of entering information into the computer system.
Responsibilities
• Receive returned product and enter orders into Oracle.
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
• Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Oracle or similar database experience is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of using computer and software is required
• Ability to type 35 wpm.
