At Petland Discounts our associates are our biggest asset, and are the key to our growth! Our sales associates are responsible for the entire sales and customer service experience for our customer. Duties and Tasks

• Have the ability to lift a box or bag of at least 25 lbs. and stand for an entire shift
• Processing transactions through a POS system
• Handling and counting money
• Carrying merchandise up and down stairs
• Pricing merchandise from a price sheet
• Cleaning, handling and caring for birds, small animals and reptiles
• Counting, catching and bagging fish from all tanks including top row with the aid of a step stool
• Reaching and removing product with the aid of a ladder from a top shelf around the perimeter of the store
• Using a hand truck to move product
