Activities to acquire and retain the best talent for Sunrise Senior Living - the development, implementation and ongoing activities of a results-oriented, metrics-driven strategy for talent acquisition. Strategy includes direct sourcing methodology, selection processes, human capital planning, employment branding, assessments, and the utilization of technology. Essential Functions * Design, develop and maintain a compelling vision for talent acquisition at Sunrise that will result in a world class attraction, selection and retention capability. * Recruit for Sunrise regional and headquarters positions and key positions throughout the organization with a primary focus on recruiting Executive Directors, Directors of Community Relations and Heath Care Coordinators. * An integral part of the talent acquisition team focused on progressive, innovative and strategic solutions to delivering top talent, customer satisfaction and continuous process improvement. * Develop and promote methodology for talent acquisition that attracts top talent and maintains high-level engagement throughout the recruitment, interviewing, assessment and selection process. * Ensure progressive and contemporary recruitment processes and procedures are utilized consistently throughout the organization that includes utilizing emerging technology/tools to develop strong candidate tracking processes for existing and future candidates. * Review and develop new and existing recruitment related policies and practices for implementation and utilization by recruiters across the organization including training initiatives to ensure legal compliance in hiring practices. * Build and maintain strategic relationships with key leaders and internal customers across the business as a trusted recruitment advisor to ensure the ability to influence guide and drive the attraction, recruiting and retention of top talent. Identify and implement key performance metrics. * Develop an embedded culture of networking and recruiting among leaders, managers and team members. * Develop diversity 'inclusion' sourcing strategies to leverage resources and develop best practices. * Develop and direct initiatives for corporate college relations. * Consult with business partners and develop strong partnerships to identify talent gaps hindering achievement of business goals and strategy. Create plans and provide tools to understand and close those gaps through talent acquisition. * Create and provide a comprehensive employee on-boarding experience for new hires. * Perform additional responsibilities as requested. Requirements * Human Resources experience or other directly related field required. * At least 3 years of dedicated recruiting experience. * Comprehensive knowledge of staffing processes, systems, vendor relationship management and best talent acquisition practices used in the market. * Proven project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and drive projects to completion. * Well-developed business acumen and ability to understand how talent strategy can influence business objective. Desired by not Required Bachelor's Degree in related field * 5 or more years recruiting in a healthcare environment * Proven ability and competence in leveraging information technology in support of talent acquisition strategies (Internet applications and tools, office automation software, ATS and HRIS applications). * *LI-HH1
