Role and Responsibilities:
Cut and defect Stikwood wood planks to prepare of taping. Taping and packaging wood planks to maintain inventory levels.
~Identify and count inbound Lamellas (thin wood planks) to confirm the correct required amount is delivered to you.
~Confirm inbound specs (if standard product specs or custom specs)
~Using a mitered saw, chop out wood defects (based on product quality specs) and assemble into charges
~Troubleshoot and perform basic and preventive maintenance on chop saws
~Keep station and surrounding area clean and free of obstructions
~Meet daily production targets in a safe and efficient manner
~Learn, understand and execute Lean Manufacturing practices.
~Employer will perform on the job training with employees, however some production/warehouse experience is recommended.
