Accounting Manager should be able to:
  • Manage reports by delegating duties, monitoring, and reviewing day-to-day operations
  • Establish goals, strategies, and coach progress of team to enhance development
  • Monitor and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Prepare, review, and perform journals for the month/period-end closes
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statement package for both internal and external reporting
  • Maintain the general ledger accounts by managing the account reconciliation process
  • File and monitor all state and local business tax filings to ensure proper compliance
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and coordinate/manage year-end audit
  • Communicate with the Management regarding all aspects of accounting operations


Accounting Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA preferred, but work experience will also be considered (minimum 5 years)
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) software including pivot tables, formulas, and macros
