Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the operations of the dining services department
* Actively preparing meals, ordering food, planning the menu, checking in food delivery, and managing dietary needs for both Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing
* Ensuring that equipment is maintained and that safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
* Training, managing and scheduling of staff to ensure that excellent customer service is provided
* Ensuring that food is prepared and presented in an appetizing manner

We seek the following principal qualifications:
* Formal training in food service management and/or the culinary arts
* One year of supervisory food service experience
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
* Flexibility with schedule, including on-call availability as needed
* Must have compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly
* Must meet all heatlh requirement (including TB) and pass background checks
