Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining a positive physical and social environment for our residents
* Working closely with the Dining Services Director
* Ordering food for the community
* Preparing and delivering food as well as sanitizing kitchen and equipment
* Ensuring food is prepared in a nutritional and appetizing fashion
* Maintaining supplies and equipment
* Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

We seek the following qualifications:
* Previous cooking experience preferred but not required
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public
* Experience working in Assisted Living a plus
* Flexibility with schedule, including on-call availability
* Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
* Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks
