Our client is a growing owner developer looking for an energetic and passionate individual to join their team as a Project Engineer in Hoboken, NJ.
In this position, candidates will work closely with the Project Manager, assisting them with coordinating all contract documents, logging and documenting, coordination and supervision of personnel, subcontractors, and vendors engaged on projects. Candidates will handle multiple projects, assist with subcontract bids, budgets, purchase orders and change orders.
Primary responsibilities will include:
-Assistance with establishing & maintaining construction schedules
-Maintain subcontractor & vendor relations
-Assist with preparing budget and financial reporting
-Maintain general contract and subcontract documents
-Construction blueprint/plan reading required
-Keeping informed on requirements for insurance, safety, labor relations, along with any other required job site responsibilities
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience, will have excellent written, verbal, and computer communication skills, and must possess a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
