TITLE:
Merchandise Operations Leader
JOB PURPOSE:
Achieve profitable sales growth by leading and engaging the merchandising, visual and support teams in the store, reinforcing and supporting standards of operational excellence
REPORTS TO: KEY PARTNERSHIPS:
Store Leader District Merchandise Execution Leader, Human Resource Leader, Sales Leader, Loss Prevention, Custodial/Facilities Maintenance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE:
• Merchandising, Visual Execution and Pricing / Signing
- Actively walks the floor and strategizes with specialists/experts to plan and execute all merchandising and visual elements (includes pricing / signing)
- Assists in the interpretation of company direction for their store and supports the appropriate adjustments with team
- Actively walks the preprints for the store and communicates to appropriate team members on actions to support pricing / signing accuracy
- Champions high standards for presentation and maintenance of store during operating hours
- Performs monthly pricing and signing audits
- Manages .com shipments, inventories, returns and supporting systems and reviews and completes .com reporting
• DoortoFloor/RFIDandReplenishment/RestockProcesses/ReverseLogistics
- Actively walks the floor and stock room areas to monitor and identify replenishment opportunities and allocate resources to drive sales
- Leads the process of receiving, returning, maintaining and delivering of .com merchandise
- Responsible for ensuring the completion of the RFID scanning process on a weekly basis
• Team Development
- Consistently uses the Coaching for Growth model by thoroughly preparing and conducting coaching conversations with associates
- Actively walks the floor and coaches in the moment to enhance each supervisor’s ability to execute, as well as develop their own respective teams
- Maintains notes / observations of each direct report’s strengths and opportunities
- Takes immediate action on performance issues within the team
- Partners with the Human Resource Leader / Supervisor to select / hire store talent and with the Store Leader to succession plan for current team
• Scheduling Support Area Resources
- Partners with the Replenishment Supervisor and / or Merchandise Operations Supervisor to schedule support resources and achieve expense / profit targets
to effectively deliver exceptional execution
• Building Maintenance
- Actively engages the custodial and facilities maintenance team to ensure cleanliness, maintenance and safety standards are met and maintained daily
• Inventory/Shrinkage
- Partners with Loss Prevention and actively engages associates to deliver the store’s shrinkage plan
• PerformanceStandards
- Consistently meets established performance standards for the role, including (but not limited to) product and service sales, customer service, profit,
productivity, and attendance
