Role
We seek a positive and reliable team member to help fill orders for custom printed t-shirts. To succeed, you must value customer satisfaction, work well with a team, be quality focused, and above all be flexible and adapt well to evolving environments.
Responsibilities
As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for:
Operating light equipment, including a printer and a heat press for printing on garments and drying the decorated product.
Providing quality control by inspecting all printed goods and working 'problem' orders back through production as necessary.
Packing/shipping orders using a postage meter and a variety of packing and shipping materials such as envelopes and boxes. You may also be required to taking the packaged items to the designated post office for shipment.
You will handle hundreds of items on a daily basis, so comfort with details, such as product counts and deadlines, is a necessity. Since we work in a team environment you are expected to be a team player and be flexible with the work you complete.
Measures of Success
The key measures of success for this position are:
Customer Satisfaction - maintaining targeted expectations for the average level of customer satisfaction measured by the customer feedback survey
Accuracy - maintaining targeted expectations for technical execution and quality of work
Productivity - maintaining targeted expectations for average number of orders completed per day
Teamwork - working together to enhance customers' and teammates' experience with CustomInk
Qualifications
No specific prior experience is required, but a track record of remaining focused and productive with similar work is desired. Experience with physical printing (especially of garments!) and basic computer knowledge (email, opening files, Excel) is a plus. In this role you will be required to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
