The Business Development Representative will be responsible for filling the needs of CLP's diverse client base by recruiting and maintaining a highly qualified field employee workforce, identifying job placement opportunities and properly assigning the workforce. Additionally, this role will assist in the effort to grow CLP's diverse client base by building new business relationships and expanding revenue with existing customers by utilizing the "consultative sales process." This position reports directly to the Market Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop contacts with contractors and facilities in need of skilled trades people on a project basis. Supports Strategic Accounts by servicing and calling upon local strategic account job sites.

  • Maintains contacts with local Trade Organizations and attends monthly/quarterly meetings to network with customers and prospects.

  • Maintain contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.

  • Assist with conducting assignment follow-up visits to ensure customer satisfaction is being met, safety guidelines are being followed, and worker satisfaction. Conduct all required Quality Assurance Process steps during customer site visits.

  • Research potential new customers using Industry lead sources

  • Work cooperatively with local management to develop and implement strategy to increase trades diversification.



QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate's Degree in related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Construction industry knowledge and/or experience preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure

  • Highest commitment to customer service, development and satisfaction

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Valid Driver's License and a car that can be used for work
